Are nearly identical lines treated as duplicates?
Do not assume differences in spaces or letter case will be normalized. Clean whitespace first when your list requires it.

How do I remove duplicate lines from a list?
Paste your list with one item per line and choose Calculate / Convert. Every repeated line is removed, and the first time each line appears is kept in its original position. Copy the cleaned list with Copy result.
Is the duplicate check case-sensitive?
Yes. “Riyadh” and “riyadh” count as different lines, and so do lines with a trailing space. Run the text through case converter and remove extra spaces first if you want them treated as the same.
Can I dedupe email lists or Excel columns?
