How to use Google SERP Snippet Preview
Prepare your input
Enter a page title, a public page URL and a proposed meta description.
Run the tool
Edit the fields or select Analyze / Generate to update the preview and counts.
Check and use the result
Review clarity and length, then apply the text through your own website’s SEO settings.
How this tool works
Write a page title, a public URL and a description, then check the visual preview. Character counts and the approximate Arial title width are editorial aids. Google can rewrite titles and snippets and use different layouts.
Understand the results
Try a specific title that describes the page’s task, then remove repeated words. A displayed preview is an approximation, not a live Google result.

Frequently asked questions
Will Google display exactly this preview?
No. Search engines may rewrite titles and descriptions and use different layouts. The preview and approximate title width are editorial aids.
Is Google SERP Snippet Preview free?
Yes. This public tool does not require an account, payment or subscription.
Where is my input processed?
The tool-specific processing runs in your browser. Website delivery still involves hosting requests; see the privacy policy for details. Read the privacy policy.
How long should a title tag be?
Google cuts titles by pixel width, not a fixed character count. On desktop, titles around 50 to 60 characters (roughly 600 pixels) usually show in full. Put the main keyword near the start so it survives any truncation.
How long should a meta description be?
Aim for about 120 to 155 characters. Longer descriptions are often cut, and Google may rewrite the snippet using text from your page if it matches the search better.
Why does Google show a different title than mine?
Google can rewrite title links when a title is too long, stuffed with keywords or doesn’t match the page. Keeping the title clear, unique and close to the H1 reduces rewrites. See Google’s title link guidance.
Why use this tool
Google SERP simulator for titles and meta descriptions
Your title and description are your ad in the search results. A snippet that is cut off or vague loses clicks even when you rank well. Previewing it before publishing lets you test variations, front-load the keyword and write a description that earns the click.
The pixel width estimate uses the same Arial 20px font size Google uses for desktop titles, which is more reliable than counting characters.
